DATA RECOVERY

IT Bromley & Croydon now provide a comprehensive data recovery service.

Data can often be recovered even when a hard disk or media appears to be unreadable; however great care needs to be taken to not accidentally erase the hidden data. A number of specialist tools are used to recover data, along with expert knowledge on how to use each tool and which one is likely to successfully restore the data required, in each given situation.

Outlook data recovery is usually possible, which can be invaluable where 'audit tracking' is required, or simply where a number of email files or folders have been accidentally deleted. Advice can also be provided where a user's profile has changed and a blank copy of Outlook appears.

Email data from previous Microsoft Exchange profiles can also often be recovered, using our .ost offline file recovery tool, providing the original .ost data file is still intact. Deleted Windows files and folders are also usually recoverable including situations where Windows cannot start, either in normal or safe mode.

For local requirements media is collected and then returned personally, although a national service can also be provided via a courier service. Data is then recovered, checked, extracted to new media and then usually returned within 48 hours.

It is often still possible to recover data in situations where there has been complete hardware failure, although this then usually involves taking apart the media in lab conditions, a service which is then provided by one of our larger data recovery partners.

Clients are welcome however to download trial versions of some many of the recommended data recovery tools, to assess whether data can be easily recovered and links to these products are provided on our preferred solutions page.
